Do you want to Score 300+ in your JAMB Examination?

It’s no longer news, that we are in season where some set of people are called ‘Jambites’.😀😀 I guess you’re a jambite too.

JAMB stands for Joint Admission Matriculation Board — it is a education governmental that oversees admission of Nigerian students into the institution of higher learning (Universities, polytechnics, colleges of education etc).

This means the exam you write is not JAMB, but UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination). It’s the exam, you have to write before you do matriculation 😂😂😂..

You must be bored, by all this unnecessary stories right? Well the exams are around the corner, breaking news FORMS ARE OUT!!!. Aside buying forms and doing going to centers here and there. The major question is, AM I PREPARED FOR THE UTME EXAMINATION?

This leads us to the ways you could score more than 300 in your UTME examination.

1. Write a clear goal: A man must have seen a glimpse of his result, before you get the result. As a student, you write your results before writing your exam. Make it plain in your notebook. Like “I want to get 340 in JAMB 2022/23”. This builds a consciousness to study, anything you feel slack. Check out our previous post on goals here.
2. Study hard: This cannot be overemphasized, success is not achieved by mistake, chance or destiny. Though the world paints it that way, but every successful man knows that’s not true. Write every single topic in the jamb syllabus, create a checkmark and study from top to bottom. It’s 4 subjects as compared to 9 subjects in WAEC, so this gives you enough time to study. Don’t stop until you’ve finished the syllabus, re-read even when you are done.
3. CBT Practice: UTME is a CBT(Computer based test), you have to be familiar with using the computer first, this is not really a big deal. Aside that, you have to practice in a real examination setting on websites that offers CBT training. I recommend myschool website. DON’T JOKE WITH THIS PRACTICE.
4. Join a community of Jambites: People of like minds help you achieve your goal easily. Join communities or group of fellow jambites either online or offline. If you do well with physical class, do well to join or libraries. The major aim is to achieve your goal.
